blahblah the typical intro. I'm from sacramento, 23, and trying to pickup an 84> to mostly haul around my shifter kart and to Daily I guess. My dad had one, I was conceived in the back of one so I find it only fitting its what I get if I am gonna get a truck.

I have been mostly in the BMW game since highschool but kinda thinking I want to get out of the sports car game and move to something else.

If I pick one up I def want to drop it a bit nothing huge but able to tell its low but still keep it driveable.

I joined basically looking for info on static drops, and different routes I can take. Thanks guys.

You'll find info on how to lower them from an inch to a foot. Cranked torsions with the balljoints flipped seems to be the popular setup. And either blocks in the back, or lowering leafs. There are also drop spindles and control arms available for the front.

Yea I was just reading the write up about flipping bj.

The main thing I worry about is losing driveablity or having it handle really bad. I have to drive a pretty good amount of time to tracks and dont want it dodging all over the place haha.

Looks like most people go flip bj and just torsion bar tweaking in the front. And just blocks in the rear?

All I am looking for in 3 to 4 inches probably while trying to stay on a budget although I am not limited on cash. I just want to close the tire gap and throw on some 16's or something.

Will get some soon. Not much to see it's pretty much stock. Just did some Headlight restoration and I am rolling on bedliner right now.

Anyone got and sugestions on nice inexpensive rail caps and tail gate cap? Or best places to shop for some?
