this is the night i got it minus the homemade diamond plate mudflaps and front brush guard. next day: 3in blocks in rear and crank the torsions a bit, tint the windows, smoke tails and front blinkers, install the free bedliner, paint the wheels, and put the 12in sub in. next on the list was change the timing tensioner, so decided to bling it up a bit and do my own reverse hood hinges. then i had to haul a washer home and the bed was riding on the tires so had to swap wheels out. before after installed tach, custom gauges, steering wheel, new tails, new free grill, and my homemade bed cover. as as it sits today after b/j flip now im just slowly getting my pieces together for the air ride.
It's coming along pretty good! I'd round off those back corners on the bed cover, they stick out a bit. Can't wait to see progress! Also, I think you should look into 4x4 fenders, they will help the marry the front and back of your truck together with the flairs
i am going to bend the corners down cuz there is folds at all the edges to stiffin it up and not have razor sharp edges. as far as the front fenders, i dont know why the previous owner didnt put on 4wd fenders before he painted it. now i have to wait till i have the funds to paint whole truck. i went to guy the painted it and we couldnt match it. its a newer ford factory color with a lot more flakes in it. it looked ok in the shade, but in the sun it was waaaaaay off. so i think i am going to get rid of the nasty flames and just do the plain sonic blue.
oh oh! I see you have some narrow whitewalls. Dude check this out: Make your own Wide White Wall tires - YouTube
narrow white walls? thats the polished lip of the wheels. but nice vid. gonna have to do that to the 52 ford!
Oh sorry bout that I was looking through real quickly. Ya I am gonna try and buy some winter tires with white lettering and do that for my winter setup.
