i have been slowly tearing my 89 single cab down over the past two months and i have finally jumped on it again. i figured since i didnt have a motor anymore i would find a suitable replacement, an iforce 4.7. and since im going to have to upgrade the rear of the beast i picked up an irs assy out of an 02 jaguar xj8. i will snap some pics as i go of corse and try to update as much as poss.
no not on this one those models are $1800 and up this is mine(first pic). and here is some pics to start it off. i braced the frame and started cutting out c-members and tacked my trans mount in place since it will not be moving. and the last pic is the bender i will be using, this unit is awesome comes with any die you choose and bends up to .120 wall with no hassel. only 300 bucks to
well i made it a rolling chassis today with some good year slicks on 15x12 centerlines hahaha would be sick if it would fit with a bed but no way. still have to drop motor and trans in to check trans mount and build engine mounts. and a crossmember for my driveshaft carrier bearing. but all-in-all comin along\
finally rolled it back in the shop yesterday. Its been way to long since I worked on it. any way ill post pics of some more progress on the frame 2moro.
