and i did THIS!!! i just sat the motor in there... no tranny... been busy working on an 2jz mk3 for someone else so hopefully by next week i'll be continue play time with my truck. all i really need to do is figure out how i'm gonna run my fuel lines since the JZ fuel rail is on the other side. suggestions??
sick, just re plumb the fuel lines from the back all the way to the front on the other side of the frame. have them cross using the mid crossmember for support and protection.
use - whatever size AN stainless steel braided lines?! Your 22R locked up and you did the right thing. Put sum'in bigger in there!
**** you should do the single conversion while you have the motor out, could save ya down the line. hows clearence from the front of the crank pulley to the rad?
Looks clean dogg, are you using bic's motor n tranny mounts, im doing the same swap. I need to find someone to do my harness and saving up for my act clutch kit for my r154.
i'm tryin to take the bed off so i can do the fuel lines, fuel pump and clean up my frame but those nuts are giving me hell... the locking tab on top bent so now the whole thing is spinning
i haven't gotten a radiator yet so i dont know the wiring shouldn't be that hard for me considering i've wired up supra and cressidas with these engines lots of times.... and the mounts are originally for the mk2 supra/mx73 cressidas
thanks for the nice comments guys... i know i don't really post much on here nor have i done an intro or build thread but i'll keep you guys updated as often as i can... i've just been busy putting together a 2jz mk3 for someone.
2jz Nice and clean....! I've been trying to find a rebuilt 2jz to do a swap with my 22r, any suggestions?
