Does anyone have a compressor and air tank that they want to get rid of? Looking for a small tank but it dont really matter. Its going to be for my air shocks. Also if anyone knows were i can find a compressor and tank for cheap to. Thanks

 

If you wanna make the drive up here I may be able to get you a deal on an old tank. My friend has a bunch of them laying around in his garage. No compressors though.

 

Depends on what you consider cheap but harbor freight sell air tanks for cheap all you need is a T if your using air shocks and Ebay compressors are cheap even the Viair 380's you can get for under $100.

I've got a spare tank for you james. I think its a 5 gallon with PTC fittings on it laying around in the garage. I'll bring it this Sunday. I just hope I can remember to bring it.

 

The only reason I cared about brand when I built my truck is longevity and warranty. Air tanks are air tanks the only thing is what they are made of and the inner coating to prevent rust and stuff but the only other difference Ive ever seen is weight. Air tanks are generally all built the same cause they have to meet certain specs and criteria. Compressors on the other hand are like anything else if you buy cheap you get cheap it will work for a while but not as well as buying something top shelf that costs 3x as much plus most larger companies like Viair and Air Zenith have really good warranties and they stand by them very well.
