right on! I purchased hose covers from jC Whitney. I'm going to go with the real hose tho. The hose cover makes it more bulky and if you don't heat the ends right it does'nt look good. Post some pics when you do something.

I will have too! I wouldn't mind doing the battery swap as well, also helps clean things up.

It was a little time consuming. What scared me most was cutting the afm wires and thinking the truck would'nt run. Mostly it was lack of confindance because I've never done it before. That's where this site is a big help. If your mechanically inclined and just go for it you can do it. I did'nt want to sodder the wires but, I learned the right way.flux is the key.

But afm wiring isnt the only thing that u have to move right? Im a auto mechanic in training at my local college atm and have been into fixin and customizing autos since i was 18 but even that would scare me too. And black tape should only be used to loom wires together and butts connector ar not weather proof but solder and heat shrink is so props on doing it the industry standard way!:clapping:

yea,you have to extend the battery cables and there is a wire going to the fuse box that connects to the positive post, remove the stock air filter housing, and remount the battery.

Do the smog guys dont say anything about the chrome pipe and the open filter or do have a stock box too? Its a clean setup all around with the removal of the crossover pipe. Ive told some buddys and they say it would make it different.
