So, have been sliding for about 3yrs now... Started out with an s13 coupe, killed that and started building my corolla shortly after

    (Its not the wagon hahaha)

Welded diff, 4age swap angle for daysssssss.. O and I went through 4 bottom ends in 2mnths

So after all I had done to the corolla, I had enough and wanted nothing more to do with that little bastard.. A neighbor offered me a trade I couldn't refuse and so a new project has begun

    65k original miles
    32/36
    Completely Rebuilt earlier this year
    Almost 0 rust

Plans aren't set in stone right now... But tomorrow its losing 3 coils up front(to start) and getting 4" blocks

    Then 5m and w58 swap

How do you get the ass lower without blocks(do they make larger then 4"?) I'm about to do the 5mge swap so I don't care really but sooner or later I'm going to need more drop

You can go with a 5inch block or check ur front leaf hangers and see if u can raise the bolt hole and cut off the bottom portion of the leaf hanger. You can also remove the middle leaf off your pack and go mono leaf too. The last thing you can do is take ur leafs to a shop where they heat them up and completely straighten them or de-arch them. :waytogo:

Everything Yankee said PLUS C notch the rear end. You dont need a big notch like us bagged guys do but a small notch so you can get a few more inches out of her and still have traveld in the rear instead of riding on your bumpstops and axle. Also Welcome to TM and dope corolla me and a buddy built a turbo 20valve AE86 a few years back with stance coilovers and 2.5w LSD that thing was badass

Expect many changes over the next few weeks

sweet pickup fellas. I wish I could get my hands on a 70's pickup but they seem to be rare in Miami, heck, 80's pickups in good condition are rare too.

Don't want to hijack but six7one, the toy to the left of yours is pretty sweet and similar to mine. Do you have a link to a build or more pictures of it so I can get some ideas?

OLD pic but this is 3 coils off the front, 3" blocks with no middle leaf and a flipped bottom. You will need to trim or get rid of your bumpstops.

best I can find for now but this is mono in the rear with the same blocks and a notched for bags. I trashed the crossmember at the back of the cab driving that low all the time, drug in and out of every parking lot, finally broke a spring and found out that I drug the crap out of the front spring hanger too

Oldschool64bus, your truck is soooooo ****ing awesome!!! I'm going to take your advice for the rear and do that today for alittle more low and I'll see what I can get for pics later

I love this truck- I need to get rims for it so it looks similar to yours

Pic from todays work(with a friends 18x7's on the back to see what I can fit). Now consider that this without any blocks at all(I can't fit 3" ones in there without diff touching frame so tomorrow, notch time then blocks and new front rims then more pics!!)

That's the plan tomorrow- then alittle clearancing on the front inner fenders and it'll loom great for now while I build the suspension/chassis so it'll handle sliding better then it does
