I've been thinking of a mild drop for my 74, maybe an inch or so. I don't want to cut the springs. Yet I still want the truck very usable, still be able to haul whatever I want. What would be recommended for it? front and rear?

1 inch drop blocks for the rear. Wont effect any hauling ability.

As for front a small coil spring cut and new struts is going to be your best bet.

Ive been running springs with just a little cut on the back of my supra for a long time and no issues. So long as you arent going for a huge drop cutting the front will be just fine...

looking at 1" blocks and air shocks for the rear along with a set of helper springs and am actually thinking of a stock set of mighty max heavy duty springs and add a spacer for not as a drastic drop and new front shocks (maybe kyb's), therefore get a mild drop with all the payload
