My name is Willy (really) and I'm the proud owner of a '79 std cab, lwb 4x4. It's mostly stock and clean, but does need a mechanical rebuild before I get to work on the fun stuff. My plan is to NOT to build a rig that will spend its days crawling over rocks (I have a heavily modified '96 Geo Tracker with a custom drivetrain for that). But since I live in MinneSNOWta, I really can't lower it much either. So... most of the customizing will be in bodywork, paint, wheels, and interior. I'll start a thread (with pictures) as soon as work begins.
welcome to the site, not to many 4x4's on here but we love them as much as our little 2wds. cant wait to see some pics
