You need a v6 or turbo cyl rear axle housing. G code.

Besides that, a supra LSD fits in fine.

    Ya. 'Nuff said:)

Oh and you might need to make yourself a special tool. If you have a welder and you can make one. I just cut an old grinder key in half (used with a grinder to take off the disc). And welded it to a chunk of steel. And you will need a dial indicator as well. I'm not sure if you need to mess around with the pinion but you might need crush sleeves or something for that. I just installed a Detroit tru trac in my rear 7.5 axle. I had to use different size carrier bearings. I learned some stuff here:

what do i need a "a v6 or turbo cyl rear axle housing. G code." for? do i still need one with that complete ebay item or does that have one already that i could use? also what would i do about leaf springs? could i use them still or would i have to custom fab some coilovers on or something crazy?

What that ebay item is is an independant rear suspension. Our trucks have a solid rear axle. So Raffaelli was telling you that you will be able to fit a supra limited slip into your toyota pickup rear axle housing. We assumed that all you wanted was a limited slip differential. But maybe we're wrong. Maybe you want an IRS. In that case you can cut off the rear of your frame and weld on the rear section from a supra. You would have to get the driveshaft dealt with and such. To be honest with you I don't see why you would need all of that stuff in the ebay link if you were using it on a toyota pickup. But I have seen plenty of guys converting to IRS so it can be done. Guaranteed to be some fab work though.
