I'd like to add air to my 81 Toy. Is it hard to find all the original stuff needed to install air or is there an aftermarket setup I could use. Up here in Ontario Can. it is very hard to find even a 79 - 83 truck let alone one with air. Very very rare option up here. Is it as rare every where else as it is here.

You might have to piece one together unless you can find a donor truck with everything there. I know there are companies that make universal A/C heater systems but they are by no means cheap. Ive seen universal install kits with compressor/condensor/controls/fan/lines etc go for $500 or more so I guess it depends on how bad you want A/C.

The one I can think of off the top of my head is in the UK but its a good kit.
Universal Air Conditioning and Heater Kit from Car Builder Solutions Limited.

I was wanting to add ac to my 80. I found a donor truck that came with ac. Question is what all do I need to get off of it to add the ac setup to mine?

I would just go to the donor truck, trace everything that connects up to the system and carefully remove, it will take some time to make sure you get everything needed.
