Not Low enough yet!!

    I have an 87. I've pulled all the leafs but 1 and leveled the front down, but i want the back even lower. its still not tucking the tires or even sitting as low as i want. so what do i need to do to get even more drop? please help i cant figure out how to manage this.

    A couple of 3" lowering blocks would've done the job without removing any of the leaf springs ... :cool:

    have fun till one of your springs snap, pulled off mono and blocks with airshocks for several years on my 77

    Put back on the bottom flat leaf and go get some 3in blocks and put those on and you will be happy. Not safe running only one leaf.

    scary thing is I only noticed it because the right rear was much lower. It broke right at the front of the block thankfully

    wow. never thought about it breaking. when you buy block's do they come with the U bolts too?

    when you run mono leaf setup, you need to shave or "roll" the edges on the shims you place against your mono leaf or that will be more prone to happen........ driving habbits also play a part in that too :evil:

    drop blocks are suppose to come with u bolts. If anything run two leafs with a block and maybe an overload leaf.

    Yeah, they're supposed to come with ... Should only run ya 'bout $40 at your local parts store ... Let us know how it's comin' along ... :cool:

    burnouts and kickin the ass out around corners is kinda hard on mono leafs :ROFL:

    bought my first blocks at the local offroad shop, when we lowered the Rodeo I grabbed a set from a parts store, both came with u bolts

    how much axle wrap if any do your guys think i'm going to get off 3" blocks

    You have a 22r, right? Probably none lol. You don't have enough power to even create axle wrap.

    I have all springs and twist mine to hell. I'll post vids from under the bed as soon as I can git my brother to get them out of his GO-Pro.
