hks or greddy

    87 single cab short bed
    My older brother has a greddy exhaust on his sti and just love that deep tone.....has anyone put a greddy or hks exhaust on a 22re if so does how does it sound?

    would sound similar to an open exhaust Toyota pickup.

    I wanna keep the cat I had an old pickup with headers with straight pipe but it was way way too loud

    Greddy and hks doesnt make a exhaust for toyota trucks. Lol

    Huge exhaust is only good if you have turbo. You want 2 and a quarter inch MAX DIAMETER. If you put a 3 inch exhaust on you will lose power/torque.

    Well hks has a 2 1/2 exhaust. Tip. Or would that be too big? I have headers already

    Ya just need to have enough backpressure. I have a 2.5 inch glasspack mid-exhaust. LCEngineering probably has the best exhaust sizing and setups just go look at what they have online.

    a 2.25" exhaust system with the 2.5" at the end wouldn't be bad. of course.. making it look normal would be the question. I saw a pickup with a fart can when I was in LA.... lol

    This shall be interesting. Keep it clean, I wanna see how this looks!
