Jumpy temp gauge help asap

    I was driving my truck it started over heating i pulled over and checked everything, it was all good. And then started driving again and it went up pu;;ed over let it cool. Started it up again and drove for a while it stayed at half way and then would creep up and then fall back down. Whats wrong???

    Enough coolant? Water pump still good? Is the fan working?

    Bad temp sender, bad gauge, thermostat sticking, radiator plugged, or head gasket going bad, head gasket will give erratic readings like you mentioned. I know, not what you wanted to hear, just throwing ideas at ya:waytogo:

    everything is full and the fan work its not electrical

    Just giving u items to diagnose and check. Start with the easy and move on to the more complicated check/inspection
