Hey everyone! my name is Kyle and I am new to the site, I'm looking for a Toyota mini extended cab right now which is pretty hard to find a low priced one lol. Right now all I have is my dd Jeep Grand Cherokee, and my first car, which is a 1983 Mercury Capri (Mercury version of a mustang) I just dropped in a 347 stroker in it. So now im looking for a new project and I have always loved toyota mini's :)

Thank you! I can not take credit for the swap however. Rajzswap did the actual swap I bought the truck from him and have been just improving it. I would say do a 1jz tho. Cheaper and easier. Oh and lastly if you are going to do a motor swap at all PLEASE keep it in the Toyota family. IE.... 1jz,2jz,1uz,2uz motors lol!!!

Sir, i am thankful that you speak my gospel. My first love of a Toyota was a 1975 Land Cruiser, i went on Ih8mud.com to look at more and was introduced to these horrible sins to the company known as Toyota: The ever so invasive Chevy 350...

To the OP, good luck on your searches, which body style of Xcab are you going to be searching for?

I've been looking at the 89-95 body style most. but I found an 86 for pretty cheap. Needs some work though

Guess the work is up to you. I personally love the older body style but as the years go by, it's getting harder and harder to find straight and clean ones.

One of my dream builds has always been a first gen 4runner bagged and bodied on 22's. it would be so damn sexy. (ive only seen one so far)
