well as posted in exterior/body. im body swapping my 89 single cab with a 91 runner. i picked it up yesterday for 500. blown 3.0 v6 already pulled out. witch makes that much less work for me. came with a set of procomp blck steelies and half tread yoko geo's i sold them to my buddy last night for a hundo. so im on the right track to having this thing pay for itself. . any way heres some pics.
modded my oil pan today to clear my steering. dropped the pan pulled the pickup and shield cut pickup and shortened tacked together welded and in after test fit
another test fit after more plating ground the plug welds off the drain bold and removed it from the piece of the pan i wont be using drilled a hole and welded it in its new home pan all finished up. gonna bead blast it and pressure test it por any pin holes on monday then paint it.

heres a shot of it in the frame motor mounts. pass side drivers side and heres my 1 1/2 z flipped with forklift to plate bottom still need to do the z on the front of the frame
good gawd I have horrible memory. Was it possible that you could've used a 1UZ-FE oil pan or was it cheaper to just cut up your own?
i never looked into the 1uz pan. the guy i got my motor from dropped it on his crossmember when pulling it out and put a hole in it. and it just so happens that the machine shop next door to me had just gotten the same engine for parts, he said i could have anything i needed. so i took the good panand just about everything else hahaha. anyway it didnt actually cost me anything but a whole days work to mod the pan.
