hey guys i got a 1986 base model with a 22r in it i was wondering for those who have done it how much work money time would it be to swap out every thing and make it into a 22re? iv done chevy motors before so i can work on cars and was thinking about maybe getting some used parts from pick-n-pull just wondering what i would need and if its even worth it or just buying a new motor since mine has 256,xxx miles thanks for all the help guys

it would be a sever pain in the ass to swap because you are in cali and its gonna need a smog eventually and need to get ref'd. if you dont care about that the actual swap is friggin easy.

i would either rebuild the 22r ( or get a rebuilt one ) and put it back to stock, or dodge emmisions and strip all the crap off a 22r and run just a weber.
