Cool, How did you deal with the timing chain and piston issues? AFAIK the LASRE block and pistons would work with the early head, but without a dome on the piston the C/R would be low. Did you use OEM or custom pistons? Yeah, this thread was commandeered, sorry James. Mods, any comment?

As long as I receive US currency I would ship it. Also I do not have Paypal so you would have to figure a way to get me the money. NO checks what so ever. ok I read through some of the mix matching parts rubble. with a 22r block, 86 and up. It WILL work with the early 80s head.. thats what I have on now..didnt need any timing adjustments.. just put on and go. as far as the pistons, dont mix match pistons with different blocks... if you got the right pistons your good...
