Just picked up a 67 stout and 65 stout parts truck. Both 100% complete. Black one runs and drives now. the 65 will be a show truck (supra engine swap, bagged, 4 link, custom frame, etc)(will be a different thread as it will be done in a friends custom shop).

    So here is my 67.

More pictures to come this weekend when I go work on it more...

Got the entire inside of my 67 stout de-rusted, color changed to satin black, dash and pieces repainted grey, new bucket seats mounted. All the interior needs is some carpet and vinyl door panels to be completely redone and finished (until the custom center console gets made).
Got the new electric fuel pump installed, and the old 3rb carb taken off, and a rebuilt, jetted down 22r carb with electric choke installed and running beautifully, like any new carbed truck from toyota!

Pictures dont do it much justice. More to come once carpet and door panels are in. And some engine bay pics once I wash and clean some stuff up.

Some exterior of the stout. Sanding and priming will begin in a week or so. Body is super straight. Passenger front fender is really the only spot that needs any work.

I have the second one... the 65. Its gonna be a fun little project. The details are still in the works, and kinda under wraps, but it will lay door on 22's. AND be fully drivable... AND kinda quick. :D

The frame and all related parts are for sale if anyone wants something. '80yota has spoken for the motor and trans. Which reminds me... when you wanna come grab that stuff? I will try and start a "build thread" sometime. We never take many pictures of our custom stuff, and I dont have that much time to spend on the computer updating everyone.

Ill come get that motor as soon as you need me to.
Mike, if you can just take the pictures as your working...I can make and update a build thread if ya want.

BTW...welded in a section where the auxilary gas door was (nothing behind it).

Built rockers to go on the bottom of the bed to make it even with the cab, and filled in the seam on the bed so its smooth all the way down to match the cab/doors, etc.
Tailgate gets shaved as soon as I can go get a piece of metal for it. Latches will be moved to the inside. The "TOYOTA" will possibly get painted back on in similar font.

Well got a killer deal on a 20r complete from filter to oil pan running and driving with 5 spd 2wd trans for 150. (includes brand new starter worth about 75 bucks)

Guy also sold me the whole front suspension/cross member/ etc and some lowering blocks for 60 more bucks.

So for 210 I got engine (running driving with new starter), 5 speed trans (with good condition original leather shift knob! woot!)
A set of springs to use to cut and put in the front of my stout,
and a complete front disc brake setup to put up front as well!

    and rear lowering blocks...

    Score!

Hoping to have the brakes on this weekend. Will be cleaning painting and regasketing the engine before it goes in so that will take a couple weeks...but with the front brakes I can start driving it..woot.

Going to order up my air shocks and cut the springs so hopefully it will be low within a week or so.
