so the front of my truck is dropped on torsions, its dropped the same amount on both sides(I measured the frame height and fender height on the same spot on both sides) and one side cambers more than the other....jus wanted to know what could be the cause of this bearings , or something ball joints??need help!!
You would adjust it by putting spacers between the upper control arm cross shaft and the frame. Plus more messing around with the steering alignment.
I know that sounds like a good idea but when you mess with the shims on the control arms your changing both camber and toe. There are TWO sets of shims for each arm (at both mounting location) and both need to be equal number and width of shims to correct camber. Unless you have an alignment machine at your house i suggest paying someone to align the truck. HINT: Most places will warranty the alignment for a year if you don't put on new suspension parts
camber and caster. the toe adjustments are off the tie rod ends. ive done these adjustments on the ground before, you just have to have a tape measure and a 90 degree thingie with some flat concrete..
what if i bring it back up a bit with the torsions then flip the lower b/j do i still need to realign???
Good question about the B/J flip. I just did mine this past weekend and put on my 17"s wit fresh rubber, should i be in a hurry to realign my rig now it's been B/J flipped?
