re discbrakes

    Hi All
    I have a 1978 rn25 and would like to fit disc brakes to the frt first and maybe to the rear later on can anyone help with what othwer models fit

    for the fronts, look for hilux front brakes. If they didn't offer it in your generation, check the next newer. Thinking about it for a moment it occurs to me that you'll probably have to swap the whole spindle. Find the oldest pickup partout you can with disk brake front end and just take everything (including the master cylinder and valves)

    bodied 73 hilux
    here in the states the 75-78 yotas came with disc fronts. so if you can find some they should be bolt on.

    the rear you'll have to custom fab to work. there isn't any aftermarket for the old lux's lol

    Yea i think mainly the SR5 models came with front disc brakes. Rears, well u got a good amount of work ahead of u
