New guy on the block with an old Toyota

    Name is Jim, 70 years old living in Fairborn, OH, reached driver age during the wonderful cars of the 50's. I have a 1989 Toyota extended cab 2 rwd short bed pickup with the 4 cyl FI engine. It has over 200K on it. The cab is rust free but due to bad paint that oxidized Toyota painted the bed and the Columbus, Indiana dealer who did the job failed to prep the bed good and I ended up with some pretty bad rust holes in the left rear quarter and on the bed floor. It still runs as good as ever and sounds like new, that is until I put in my hearing aids.
