First hiway trip .. it's not real far from home , so this was a good thing .. didnt have a good nights sleep , as I was thinking of all sorts of problems .. but alas .. she ran flawlessly

Trekker got great acceptance , but again .. most people didnt know what it was , they just thought it was a ~ truck with a canopy !!

some interior shots for you ..

Man it looks sharp, But the reason no one knows is cause your taking a truck to a classic car shows. Try some cae truck shows and i bet you win some stuff. I would vote for you.

also .. got a driving vid finally :) windows wide open , very hot weekend , so it's kind of noisy !! Sterio works AWESOME :)

kind of "raced" a Tundra from the lights up the Couquhalla . its about a 7% grade up for a few miles .. my truck on 35's ..and the tundra with stock tires .. I'm real happy , had him up to 120K and I backed off ..

so calculated my fuel economy this evening .. from this last trip , I avereged 24 MPG .. I know the tires throw the speedo off ,and all that stuff .. so I guess I will have to calculate it from a " map" milage .. to get a more accurate # ..

I also noticed some "belt squeel" so I ordered the URD pulley to replace the stock one .. it should add 1-2 lbs of boost as well

thanks fellas .. it is a real fricken cool truck :D .. really .. I absolutly LUV drivin it !! so much fun . some people at the shows are just in "awe" they are just amazed and complement me on how "subtle" but awesome the truck is .. not to much lift and paint ..ect ect.. but yet I still cant win a "trophy" .. I'm sure it will come eventually , and really I wasnt even thinking about it , untill someone HERE mentioned it !!

anyway .. i'm over it , as I talked to quite a few people after the voting a the last few shows ..

they let there wives go and vote for there favorites .. :doah: not a clue
most of them came by and I hear them talking " how would I ever get into this thing" :looney: (loose some weight fat A$$)

    whatever !! I'm havin' fun

next project is the "supertoy" .. it's about a 1/4r mocked up already .. hope to have it back in the shop before the snow flies ..
(it's the one pictured in my avatar)

thanks .. yes , Penticton is a very beautiful place to live , and I am a VERY lucky guy to be able to do what I do for a living .

i'm looking after it .. it's just so much fun ..

drove by the local dealership , and they absloutly love it as well , the owners actually want to "store" it in there showroon this winter :D

There is another fella interested in buying as well , we have been "comnunicating" .. all I can say , is I know it will go to a good home when the time comes .

so I have decided not to put the URD pully on just yet .. but I did want to change the oil in the nose , so a little "how to" or how I did mine .

locating the oil plug is the first thing .. on the second gen (black supercharger) is is located on the front right of the nose just behind and below the hose bracket

I started by removing the bracket to allow more room

and proceeded to remove the plug

There are a few different ways to do this , I chose to use my brake line bleader

worked great , old oil removed

I removed 80ml of oil , so this is what I replaced
I used a IV style to do so

but it all back together , and tightened up the tensioner .. and DONE
