What do you mean by matching the bed, Im assuming your talking body lines!! When you bag it there will be NO change. When you Bodydrop it then do Cab first them all it is is a few bits of measuring to get bed to sit at line. Dont over think it!

Hes talkin about the bottom of the bed to the bottom of the cab since the bed sits up higher.

Id say add metal bro. Or BD it til it matches. Lol

I gots no truck, for now
the bottom of the bed and the bottom of the rocker dont line up on the 74's.....

best way is to body drop the cab until it lays rocker, then section the cab until the bed lays, then section the front fenders to keep them the same shape as they were before the cab was sectioned.... or you can just cut off the rockers and keep bodydropping it until the bed lays, but it wont look right.

Or go to a junk yard or find a bed on craigslist an cut the lower section off and weld it on the bottom of the bed

You can fabricate an extension, or have it made for you. A piece that will continue the panel down to the bottom of the cab.:waytogo:

Easiest way would be to fab up an extension to have the lines match up

Burnz, so you just cut the very bottom off, added into the middle, and then put the bottom back on to keep the same line there?

Thats not a section from another bed, just a peice of sheet metal?

yeah just a piece of sheetmetal. formed a bit over my leg to match the slight radius that is in the bed there, and the ends were shaped on the edge of a table.

I would leave them the way they are it takes away from the original look of the truck if the bed lay with the cab it won't look right
