Does it drain during the day or at night?

i had the same problem... check to make sure you have the battery cables on right... mine would drain out that way. and if not might be new starter needed... I had the same thing happening to mine and this solved my problems.

Actually I'd have to agree with (millcitysboy606) - double check your cables. That's where I'd start. If they're not loose then double check the condition of the cables themselves.

    Keep us updated.

    Thanks. :)

When you get out of your truck tonight, see if your brake lights are still on... I'm betting the rubber grommet that hits your brake light switch on the pedal has broken off... Simlpy replace the grommet with a small nut and bolt...

If this solves it, can I have the 4 runner frontend? :D

    get a test light

remove the neg cable on the batt

use the test light to connect the neg cable to the batt

if you have a draw it will light up, start pulling fuzes 1 at a time with the key off doors shut, and when the light goes out you found your problem.

Sounds like you might have whats called a Paracitic Draw. Heres what to do. You will need a test light. Can be bought cheap. Dissconnect the (+) side of the bettery and connect the testlight in series with the battery. Connect one end to the (+) cable end and the other to the battery post.

Now with the key out of the ignition and EVERY off. Look at the light and if it is still on that means that while your car is off something is still on and putting a draw on the bettery. This is what is causing it to drain overnight.

To locate the draw(this part sucks) Start pulling fuses one by one and watching the light. If you pull a fuse and the light goes out, the draw is comming from that fused circuit. Find out what that fuse is for and that should lead you to what could be draining your battery!

If you need any more help with all that let me know.

    Good Hunting

    ya thats what i said;)

cept i like to use the neg side of the batt, no chance shorting out the test light or makin sparks.

You can disconnet the (-) side cable to0. Does not make any difference. Just like ShoNuff said! I just usually do the (+) myslef.

i've always used the neg. side as well, but went from the neg. post of the battery to some bare metal on the body.
