so friday was a BAD day ..
I ended up breaking my rear glass

CRAP , CRAP , CRAP , not real sure how I did it , just one of those things I guess ..
so I was very upset with myself .. and just left work ..
I was very upset that now less then a week to the first show , I had no rear glass , and I didnt think I was going to make it ..

had a couple of beers , and "calm'd" down a bit , and remembered .. I have a whole inventory of Trekker stuff .. including some new Makrolon rear "glass" pieces ..

so with fathers day at hand .. I have to "bribe" my boy to come help me today get things "buttoned up" for this Friday ..

so today , we installed the new glass ..

    lock/latch .. and hatch supports ..

My FIRST show and shine ..

I was able to get a few hours of seat time in
    VERY happy ..
also filled the tank up with 94 Octane and HUGE differance , no more supercharger ping !! ran flawlessly ....

Friday night was the parade .. what a blast !! People lined the route , while about 800 cars went by .
I felt very proud when people would point and gimmy the "thumbs up" .. little kids were " oohh look at that monster truck" ;D .. very cool !!

Saturday Morn , I arrived a bit late to the show . Turns out my DD/work truck decided to "spit" the starter out of it's place .. The top ear/mount flange broke right off , and the lower bolt had worked it's way almost completly out .. so i had to call a cab to go get the trekker .
when I finally got there , I ended up in obscurity .. although quite a few people were able to view the truck , not nearly the exposure I was hoping for ..

day 2 was a little better , was right on the main street .. lots of exposer ...
