ignition switch wiring q's

    i need to know what the am1 am2 is for as most of you guys know im using a universal wiring harness for the 302 buy i want to use the toyota ignition switch im trying to figure out how to wire it up to the 302 and help would be appreciated

    that's what the Toyota is.
    AM should be accessory like Nook said.
    I think ST could be "run"

    i know the st is starter and ign is acc so im taking it am is battery

    Without actually seeing the switch and doing a few simple tests with an ohm meter to see whats open/closed when and where regarding key position, I can only guess,
    am1-am2 would be accessory position, gotta have power in to switch on one leg, then when key is turned to accessory you have power out the other leg to whatever needs powered in accessory position,
    st1-st2, same deal, gotta have power to one leg, then when key is turned to the start position power goes out other leg to starter, and other ignition components that need power in start position.
    ign1-ign2 again power in one and power out the other to the ignition and other components while the engine is running.
