I just came across this site and it looks great.. Here's my '86 that's been repainted Royal Sapphire Pearl which is a Toyota color used on a limited edition Supra.. Ronal R9 wheels from the mid 80's.. Anyone remember these?.. Ha!

Plans?.. Ha!.. This truck was the first vehicle I bought.. I was so stoked (80's term) to be cruising in my own ride.. I remember the first thing I did was peal off the decals.. I washed it every other week and polished it often.. Keeping my truck clean just became the norm and still is today.. Sadly, I do have to park it outside so I dust it off every day and use Meguiar's Ultimate quick detail once a week for the whole truck and every couple days to wipe off the top and hood.. That's an excellent product! As far as plans go, I really don't have any.. It's my daily driver and about 5 years ago I had it painted Royal Saphire Pearl which is a great color.. There are a few flaws with the paint now (cracking in door jams, slight orange peel on top, and it's very thin. chips from the smallest road debris) but I'm not going to sweat that until it gets worse and then I'll have it painted by a better shop.. It would be cooler looking if it was a bit lower.. It's only dropped 2 inches so maybe some day I'll go lower.. I'll probably window tint the driver and passenger sides darker.. I may get a ticket here in Ca. but darker is better.. Bigger upgrades like a header kit or something like this makes me curious.. Ha!.. 22RE (83-88) Intake Performance Package
