Need some help

    ok so my rear is making some loud squeking noises! mostly when i go into reverse and driving in first gear but not all the time in first gear, i wanna know wat the squeking can be and how i can get rid of it...i have 3in. blocks on my truck, some people tell me its the blocks, or my axle, but i just dont know wat it is! :confused:

    You might want to check the condition of the ujoints, sounds like you may have a dry/worn one.

    universal joints, one on each end of the driveshaft.

    Noise

    Have a freind drive it and ride in the back so you can get a better idea of where the noise is comming from. Look at your leaf springs where the blocks are if they are loose you will see marks on your springs from the blocks shifting posistion and your truck will sway when you shift. I dont think that would cause a squeking sound. Maybe your drive shaft is rubbing on the middle cross member under the cab. You will see marks on the shaft where it rubs. But again I dont think this will cause squeking.Try to pin point the noise first.
