That truck looks nice but like said before if done right it would look good. But if you just slap those off road fenders on it then it will look nasty.
The tubbed wide body fender and bedsides on a 2wd Hilux tucking deep dishes is kind of an old thing. I seen a boatmaker do it to his 91 yota back in like 94 or 95 when I was in the 4th grade. It was my pops friend and he molded the fenders and bedsides to tuck 15x9's in the front and 15x10's in the back. It looked sick as hell until he got on a good one after work one night and piled it into a guard rail by his old shop. Wish I had a pic to show but that was way before the time of camera phones.

ill take some pics of my truck later and post them up. then you guys can photo shop it to lay frame and put your wheels on it if you want to. edit: forgot i had this one.
Yea I`ve seen more than one widebody tacoma I was thinking it would just take someone to add a vertical flat section to an existing prerunner style design like slacker`s there. And just make a flat section so that it would look good with 18`s or at least 20`s. This RX7 has the vertical part on the fender around the wheels.
Damn that taco is sick. I love the wide body and if i new a little bit more about body work i would probably think about it.
our american flared beds and 4wd fenders are considered widebody already. (seriously) or even technically, our 2wd trucks have american smooth top 4wd beds. fiberglass sides and flares on my truck would be nice..
ive found a company that makes 84-88 toyota front fiberglass fenders with a 3" flare and the wheel opening is stock sze. might be perfect. they are imexpensive too. they also have the 89-94 body style as well for Nam's truck. the company is Trailer Products http://mysite.verizon.net/res13eiia/index.html
it's a whole 1/4r panel we also have custom flared rears and fronts for the 84-88's these are going on my supra truck (supertoy) .
