I've done a fair bit to my truck, but I need a general weight of these trucks. If i'm reading right, they are ~2500 lbs, but don't know what model that is?

I'm going to look at a new 4x4 tacoma, ranger, and frontier and want to know for sure I can tow the toyota to shows if need be.

 

hey grant toyotareference lists the 84 with a gross weight of 4400 lbs with 1400 lbs payload. so that would be 3k pounds for the truck??

i'm think it's off tho because it lists the same specs on the longbed trucks which would weigh more.

 

the standard cabs weight about 23-2400 give or take 100-200 lbs?
excab 89-95's are about 2900.

 

my 88 std cab short bed (skinned and other wait reduction have been done[spare =gone bed floor =gone tailgate= gone int=striped ])

about 2400 (give or take 75[with my 200lbs ass in it])

 

my 86 is 2600 lbs

 

My 89 ext cab short box is about 3300-3400lbs with a sub and amp and some junk in the back seat

 

man, my 83 tips the scales at just over 4000 but its lifted, bigger tires, longbed with a shell and built bumpers and rock sliders
