What size tire can I go with for 20's stock height. They are 8.5 wide with 10 offset. Please let me know. Thanks

How bad are your streets? I'm gonna run 20's but im gonna go with 225/35/20 cause we have horrible streets out here and a 35 series is sort of rolling the dice!
Out here in the boonies they aren't that bad....just have to know what to avoid. It's not a daily driver so I never really beat on them.
I am pretty sure my truck came stock with 195/75R14 Which are 25.52in diameter. Did yours come with something else?
I think mine had 205/75/14s. I replaced em with 205/70s just so theyd be a bit smaller. I think they were close to a 195/75. Dnt member tho
Ok I did a lil research. According to tire websites the standard cab came with 195s and ext cabs came with 205s. Weird.
yup. but some of the xcabs got 7.5" diffs and still had 205's. The 1ton's got 8" diffs and 195's. weird huh? Play it safe with 40's or 45's. rather be safe than have a bent wheel right?
No way, 30s....gotta live on the edge a lil. I am lucky to put 1000 miles a year on my truck. If I relied on it to get to work, maybe....naw prob not.
