Hey guys, this is my 1st post, i live in aus and i have a 1990 single cab (2 door) 2wd ute. it has the 22r and is auto, model number is RN85R. i am just interested in that the toyota pick up the us had at the same time looks identical to the aus markets hilux at the same time. and would like to know the differences so i can start to buy parts from the states such as susppention and power windows, but i dont want to ship the stuff to find out the pick up and my hilux only look the same and have different running gear. anyways i just want to say this site looks real tops and cant wait to get some help so thanks again. sam.
as far as i know everything is the same or at least interchangable. consider the fact the your truck is right hand drive and ours are left hand. so your dash, and steering components are not the same..

thanks for the welcome, i will have some pics in the next few days, anyone know where i can get some 2 door toyota surf or 4runner doors with eletrics??? they are as rare as hens teeth here in aus.
