an old junkyard dog my dad picked up im workin on for him, she looks rough but trust me she looks much better than she once did lol came in with no bed, hood wouldnt open. could watch the pavement whiz by your feet. and no speedo lol... but we revived her, new metal in the floor, new speedo cable, new hood catch built the flatbed out of alluminum planking and the headache rack out of 2x4s... currently pulling the seats out to replace them with some buckets i got out of an 82 2 wheel drive we salvaged off some kid. and when i get the shop dust free and clean im going to pull it in and paint it OD green and paint the steelies black, i wanna remove the front bumper and replace it with either a fab'd pipe bumper or find a aftermarket brushguard/bumper or bull bars. shes just intended to be a brush truck to get wood in but after driving it i have fell in love with the damn thing lol.

also the dash is smashed to HELL and thats one im still kinda puzzled on, any good online part spots for these?

looks like a fun truck for sure, as for the dash i think the junkyard is really the only option, unless you make your own

ya thats what i was figuring on... with the small size and design i dont think it would be hard to make a fiberglass dash though. the one on it is almost non existant aside from the gauge cluster so it all i have left is the frame lol

well the head gasket blew this weekend, so while i got it tore apart fixin that im going to put a header on it, get rid of all the emmissions crap i can (where i live i could get a lawn mower to pass inspection) new timing chain, new hoses..and anything else i think needs replaced. and then im gunna clean and paint her under the hood.... i gotta say, the 22r is a tough beast lol i drove it 6 miles home with it smokin so bad i couldnt see the guy behind me and she never missed a beat. never even got hot. im sending the head out this week to see if its cracked, i have another if it is so im not worried. its realy nice to work on, except the rats nest of vacume hoses coming off the carb.. im hoping to eliminate some of that with the emmissions crap.

but anyways after that im thinkin OD green paint, black wheels.. rhynolined floorboards, bucket seats, offroad lights on the headache rack, twin whips for the cb on the mirrors, and a pipe bumper.. you cant see it from the angle of that pic but the bumper is SMASHED and a new one is proving hard to find. grills in good shape though

Throw a lift and some big ass meaty tires under it with some 529 gears and you'll have a blast.
