After I installed my drop spindles the alignment was off. I was able to adjust my right side tie rod to be close so I can at least drive it 4 blocks to get a complete alignment. The left side is not working out so well. I am not able to break the tie rod sleeve loose. Does any one have suggestions?

    BFH (big f'in hammer)

sometimes a good blow will shock it and loosen up any rust

Yeah I put a pipe wrench and pounded on it with a hammer and it was no go. It has been sitting in liquid wrench for a week or so so maybe that will help and i will start the whole process over.

Just soak it with pb blaster or liquid wrench. Also try soaking a small towel in pb blaster and wrapping it around the adjusting sleeve pretty tight so it wont dry up so fast.

I gots no truck, for now
the best rust buster ive seen is that stuff that actually freezes what you are trying to break loose, then you smack it which creates tiny cracks in the rust and makes it easy to move. ill try to find the name, its like E-Z- something something.

anyhow also make sure the pipe wrench you are useing isnt crushing the sleeve onto the threads, that working against what you are trying to do.

it's a liquid catalyst and something something. works its way through and breaks anything loose.

tie-rod related. wheel is pointed in the 1'o'clock position (or was it the 3 minute mark?), but anyway, if its pointing 12'o'clock, it'll go left. How do i adjust this?
