About a week ago I came out to my truck to go to work and I noticed someone took the spare tire out of my bed, so that meant it had to be someone in my complex And today when I was walking my dog outside the complex I saw it in the passenger seat of a parked p.o.s cavalier my first reaction was to open the door and take it back but the door Was locked, so I was thinking ill come back tonight and bust out the window and take it back or slash all four of his tires and he can keep my spare or maybe ill just call the cops. Any suggestions Guy's?

 

loosen up all his lug nuts break his window and take ur spare back lol

 

call police, if you cut up his ride, they will come back at yours.

 

take it back....... dont damage the guys ride if possible, put it back in your truck, lock it wih a cable, and find a way to engrave your last name on it inside the wheel (mounting side) in case it goes "missing" again. if said person comes back and takes it back, call the cops and go claim it and prove it with the engraved name on the wheel the guy will likely not notice. he gets fined or goes to jail for defacing/stealing property. if he does anything to your ride in return......... go to town on his p.o.s.

Yes police involvment however I will play off something SD said. Take the spare back and engrave it, then put it back in his car. Maybe just use a sharpie or something to write your name, but yah put it back in the car then call the cops. He will def be busted!! Also move to a complex where your neighbors wont steal a spare tire and then let it chill on there seat basically stating I am untouchable. I hate thiefs.

 

Light his cavalier of fire then beat the sh!t outta him when he comes to put it out... Thats what I would do... Just sayin' But I've never been known for thinking rationally. LOL Nothing worse than a theif.

 

just remember karma. If you mess with his pos then it will come back on you. Call the cops and the landlord and tell them whats up. Taking your spare back is not worth jail or fines.

Problem is, your spare won't fit hit Cavalier..... 5x4.75 for chevy vs. 5x4.5 on toyota... dude sounds like an idiot. Especially leaving it in plain sight. Call the cops and the landlord and bust his ass. It'll be pretty obvious when you point out it won't even fit his car.

 

Ok i agree with everyone so far, but first i would like to know how you know it is your spare tire and its just not his and you think its yours. Make sure for real it is yours and then if you have proof it is then call the cops and landlord. The only thing is its going to be a he said he said thing against one another when you talk to the cops. You got to have proof it is yours. They just cant take your side cause you say it looks like yours and yours did just get taking. Do you get what im saying? Good luck with this and let us no how it goes and what you did. I know for a fact that it is mine because like you said. It wont fit on his car and he has a spare doughnut tire on there now, why would you have a perfectly good tire sitting in your seat, and its the same tire brand I had, the rim is gloss black from when I painted it and the inside of the tire is worn from the negative camber from being bagged

 

get his plate numbers just in case they leave but ya call the cops, but possession is 80% the law do you have proof its your?

 

Maybe he meant to borrow it but, now that it doesnt fit he's going to return it... Have you checked if he left you a note in your mailbox or something???

im all for retaliation, but he lives in your complex so if you bust his car he'll bust yours back. leave him a note to return it. cops wont do crap cause you realy need your name on it to prove its yours. i would wait on getting him back, cause he would know its you.
