thank you for reading and all the help.... but here is the thing hope i dont loose you guys. i have a 94 pickup two door that i want to make a ext. cab,so i am buying a 91 ext. cab hole rolling truck.i was just going to take my cab off and all that junk and extend the frame but to save time can i just use the hole frame off the 91 ext cab??.. the bad thing is it is a 4x4 and it DOES have I.F.S. SO the big question is can i take out all the four wheel drive parts and make a 2x4 it and just swap motor and trans???? sounds stupid but i have told sponsors what i am doing and they cant wait to see the truck.. there is not many ext cab yota's that are bagged and bodied around here

you could try but you have to deal with the front suspension then the 6lug configuration.

I can solve this so quickly! Buy my 94 extra cab then you don't have to do a bunch of unnecessary work making a 2wd a excab when you can buy one already done

?.. Your 94, is it a LWB or SWB. If its a LWB, install ext cab and a SWB bed.

You should just extend the 2wd frame while doing a SFBD

I'm a little lost.. Your 2wd frame is trashed? or the suspension components? The 4x4 frame/xmembers/suspension is quite a bit different. if you were to remove the front diff and bag the 4x4 frame - all the way aired out with the front xmember on the ground the truck would probably be about as low as a mild static drop, except the front end would be layed out.

Seriously your best options are to either extend your 2wd frame, or weld your 2wd frame firewall forward to the 4x4 frame, or like i said earlier do a stock floor body drop and just build the new frame section a little longer.
