    Finally home!
Met up with Aaron (Mightymouse) and picked up an axle. Good business man, good business. I'm tired from the drive. I'll be ready to install this axle (had to unload it from the truck myself.. that was tough lol) by tomorrow (today). We'll see how far i get!

hey odyssey's are pimp! plus that economy 3.5 v6 (j35) is not slow as you think. we took an odyssey and raced some guy in a 06 v6 mustang and beat him, it was pretty funny, that's also the same engine that comes in an acura tl type-s. Put one of those motors in a eg hatch and then have some fun!

post some pics of the install and ask questions as you go. If you can do the timing chain on a 22re this should be a cake walk for you. Get a one man bleeder kit from a parts store for the brakes to make easier. PB BLASTER! use it love it. Go easy on the diff plugs as some people have trouble with them stripping. You should have one brake line to attach from the lspv. You'll be back on the road in no time.

how did you manage to break your rear ? Im praying for the day I blow my 8'', although it will never happen with a toyota motor, I hope to have it shattered with my ls1 within a few months lol

Thanks man! I really needed it.
Lol I raced a 4th gen Prelude. put the guy in his place. my friend, she was having fun, laughing in their faces as the kid lost *lol*
The minivan is the 01 3.5 with barely 200 something horsies. it gets about 18mpg.
I wish I took more pics... I just happened and i was just covered in STUFF. I got it finished though. I had to remove the T split ON the axle so i can get that brake line on. I didn't really need a bleeder kit for the night. I had a friend come help. Most of the fluid was dark.. I started with driver rear. I'm not sure if it was the axle's fluid itself or what not.
Yeah, spent $40 at autozone to get u-bolts, gear oil, brake fluid, and pb blaster. Definitely worth it all. I got those diff plugs out EASY. the filler DID come off first try. lovely. so did the drain.
    The truck ran smooth :)
3.73's to 3.41's. It's a little off by about 4mph, so not too bad. kinda throws ME off lol. I need to check everything again later.
40k miles of abuse and driving it the way it shouldn't :D
    The 8" really shouldn't blow.
I'm going to open my 7.5" diff tomorrow to see what was going on.

I would be amazed if you ever broke the 8" axle with a 22re. A big v8 maybe but unless you are doing some seriously crazy crap that axle is solid. I'm pumped the axle worked out for you and you're back on the road. It was nice to meet you and if you ever need some toyota parts you know who to ask. Now post some pics of the thing installed!
