When i put the 350z rims on the truck i bought some 5/16 wheel spacers and now the lugs only get about 4 threads of bite. I looked into new lugs but i can not find tuner lugs to fit in the rim. should i buy longer lug studs or should i drill the rims 1/8th of an inch to get tuner lugs to fit? I need some help getting this rims on. I am getting irritated with these things.

Is there an issue with the studs at the front and rear? Or is it just the front?

It is just the front, The wheel will fit against the hub. There is a rig around the hub that the rim will not fully go over. I thought it was the center dust cap but it is not that. It is either drill out the holes in the rim or get bigger studs.

u need the spacer for better turning radius, as for the studs go pull some from a junkyard from the rear and put them on the front of your truck because the rears are a quarter inch longer and u will get more of a bite

Yeah I noticed the lip is just barely not clearing hub so i think i am going to dremel it out. I think the spacers are not neccessary because it is just a 1/4 inch difference. I will try to dremel the lip first.

    +1

Get rear studs (they're longer). Hit up the junk yard or if get them at the auto store, they're about 5 bucks a piece new.

easiest way is a machine shop with a press. 5 or 10 bucks gets em all out and in. no need for a BFH and getting all pissed off over it.

I have a tendency to get all pissed off with stuff like this. The machine shop sounds like a good idea. Now i need to find one in my area that would do this for me.

Pretty much any automotive shop will be able to help you out. Most of them have a small press for stuff like this. I do it all the time.

And ya they should only be a dollar or two. I got ARP studs for my truck for like $3.50 each.

This is what i posted on my build thread. I need to eliminate one of them.

Now another question about the studs, will the 4x4 studs fit? The head code, shoulder length, and knurl are different. I do not know how much of a difference this will make. Here is the options I have.

This is the standard front one:

This is the standard rear one:

And this is the 4x4 ones:

Haha I will make these SOBs work no matter what. They should be on and rolling this weekend. The interior should be done too.
