Hid ballast mounting

    I'm having a hard time deciding where I should mount the ballast for the hid's. Does any one have pics showing where you mounted them or just chime in on wheres a good spot to mount them. Thanks

    behind the headlights so it wont get too wet from rain or wherever you feel comfortable. just don't let it get wet and you'll be fine. grill would also be ok.

    I put mine in on the fender wells. It works great and they never get exposed to water, this could be a problem if you have no fender wells but thats a whole diff story

    dont mount it to the grill...you don't wana see it, let alone have it open to damage and weather

    I have mine on the inside fender, not the well but on the side if that makes any sense, i'll get you a pic tomorrow when there is daylight, but one is basically beside the battery the other next to the airfilter

    sorry took a little longer, here is where mine are mounted, my ballasts came with that bracket which made it much easier.
