Hey everyone on saturday I picked up arvieg's old truck. http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/vehicles-27/fs-91-toyota-pickup-single-cab-8766/ It's my 1st mini truck ever. I have a 2001 sequoia and a 2001 VW Passat 1.8T but the truck is by far the coolest vehicle I have ever owned. I was a honda guy growing up so this truck stuff seems complicated at the moment. Look forward to meeting some of you guys
Welcome TM! We have a huge SD crew that can help you out. It seems the truck is looking great already. Just need to kick it the SD guys!
Yeah, it seems that a lot of people on here are from San Diego. I am down to hang out just let me know when. I have a couple things planned. First thing is to change the suspension set up a little bit. Probably later on get the body work squared away. The truck is so low right now it's hard to daily drive so I have to figure out how to do the torsion bars. City Heights but moving down to Chula Vista in the next two weeks.
Thanks, I wish I could take the credit but it was all arvieg's doing. I will take what I got from him and make it better in time.
hi to all I am going to post some pic of my 96 tacoma only by vin# in the next few days just stoping by to say hi. just some things I have done to my pick up I have bagged it and fabed in a 89 supra rear ISR susp and diff, then from a standered cab to a 01 four door cab. But the pic will come to show to all
Welcome to TM. Love those wheels he put on there. Was trying to get them from him but he never responded. A truck is never to low to be a daily driver. Mine is lower then yours right now and its my daily. SO besides the suspension what else do you have planed for it?
Body work, the bed has some pretty decent damage. Besides that I don't know enough about the truck to have anything else planned. I did hit up beefed taco about a c-notch. We will see what happens after I have been here a while.
man i really like the stance it has... hang in there and drive it that low cause I think it looks killer...
