so im shopping around for my roll pan and tailgate relocator. just kinda curious as to what other people have experienced with...

currently for roll pans i am looking between grant kusoms, sir michaels, or suicidedoors. im looking at the same places for the relocator kit too.

or does anyone know of another company worth looking into for this??

i wouldnt buy a relocater kit, if your skilled with welding and bodywork or the person who is doing it is, it is very easy. Just carefully cut out the tailgate latch mount point from the outside of the tailgate take off your tailgate access panel and cut out a section for the tailgate handle mount(inside of tailgate), weld it up, slap on some bondo and reverse your tailgate release rods, patch up the outside of your tailgate and your good to go, thats how i did mine..

On rollpans i can only comment on sir michaels(also have their tailgate skin), the fit was great no complaints about it what so ever. But after just getting rear ended the body shop that did the repairs ended up going with a airbagit.com rollpan (they are local here), not sure how easy it went on for them but it looks great, i can't tell the difference..I think you'll be ok with any one of those, i'd say go for the cheapest.

I just welded mine in a couple weeks ago....got it from rollpans.com. I am happy with the rollpan. I am not so happy with customer service. I bought one with a center lic plate frame and it was supposed to ship with the lic plate light that fits in the mount. It didn't come with the light so I called them and got a cell phone voicemail that was completely full so I couldn't leave a message. So I emailed them and never got a reply.

BTW, It still states on their site that it is supposed to come with the light.

    Company review wise

Company review wise, I've ordered products with airbagit, fbirides (rollpans) and suicidedoors. All 3 companys gave me great product and were very fast. Rollpans and suicidedoors, I had no problems at all.
With Airbagit, I placed an order (says they ship within 48 hours) and waited. On the 6th day, I called. Thats when the shipment was processed. After that the hood scoop I ordered showed up within 3 days.

Suicide doors is out of stock on everything. Supposedly the story is one of them went to work for someone else so they dont keep stuff in stock anymore. My buddy has been waitin 2 months for naked control arms for his S10. I have a rollpans.com pan and its looks great, very quality. Everything else I have is Grants so I have nothing to compare to but their quality is above par on everything Ive got so far. Id say if price is within $20 of rollpans and grant go with grant since they are huge and have these things sitting on a shelf ready to go unless you want a plate box added then it might take a few days.

cool, thanks for the insight guys. ive dealt with suicidedoors as well and have had great customer service with them. at this point, price and quality is what im looking at. sir michaels seems to be the top notch product. grant kustoms is well known and seems to have no complaints from anyone. ill take a look over at rollpans.com too. i dont mind paying for a bit better quality..... but saving a few bucks for an equally well made product is not out of the question either.

the handle relocator is no biggie to me since i buy one thats essentially already made and done for me. if it saves me some time and effort, i think for the price i pay it makes it worth just getting the preset one. but thats just me.

I got my Grant one for $75 shipped a while ago. Just find someone with a LowRider Depot account. They sell Grant and are super quick on shipping. Or hell you can order it from Gaugemagazine or straight from Grant too. Stay away from suicide, My buddy was waiting 9 weeks for his 3 link and finally cancelled his order

Gauge Magazine also has the handle relocator, But heres how I made mine for free...
