I bought a set of g35 wheels and I want to lower my truck to barley tuck the 245/45/18's. What would be the best way to do so? I see all the ways you can do it. I don't think a 2-3 (spindle) drop will be enough?! Thanks!
Alot of guys do a ball joint flip, thats good for about an inch, or crank the torsions down. As far as th rear, 2 or 3" blocks with removed spring.
I think the ball joint flip and spindles would give me around 2-3, that would cover the front! I was thinking a 3-4 inch block in the rear and that would be cool!
I'm runnin a 3" blocks with all leaf springs and it doesn't tuck at all, 235/40-18's. And I have about 150-200 lbs of bedbox.
I can attest for Nvrenuf's not tuckin on 18's. It looks horrible poor truck. LOL dave Im kidding it looks good but yah it dont tuck NADA. You'll have to do 4" blocks with a baby C notch and probably remove middle leaf or flip and de-arch. Or drop leafs but thats the expensive way .
make sure the suspension is pretty tight. Don't want the horizontal movement to mess up the wheels or bed.
