currently on my 79 SR5 im trying to drop the back to match the drop in the front as best as possiable until i can bag it, so i bought the DJM universal 4in angled drop blocks and theres somthing wrong i cant figure out. im having massive play where i can push the tire and watch the pinion angle change a bunch even though the U bolts are tightned as tight as possiable. so everytime i get on the gas and let off it just torques the heck out of driveline. and its getting horriable vibrations going only 10mph. i saw that with the block kit it was mentioning for S10s that they require a top plate on the block VS having the hollow center top? would this truck need it to?

if my description doesnt make sence i can always run out and take some pics to upload as well

    thanks

thats what im starting to think cuz its not really visiable at the block to see how much movement there is until i look at the yoke to see it moving up and down several degrees each way. im wondering if i should fabricate a plate to go on top but then the fitment might not be the greatest so im still not sure what to do :/

    ^ +1.

My pepboys aluminum 3in blocks actually get smushed by the axle's mount/pad. Once they get play the truck drives DANGEROUS!

Hitting the gas is a lane changer, so is decel.

    Do you have pics?
