balance the motor for one.... lighten the rotating mass. support your high rev's with good rods, bearings on the bottom end........ make it flow like a mofo up top (head) there are a few guys that have good high rev motors but keep in mind...... these motors were not designed with "high revs" in mind..... these were low rpm torque motors designed to be haulers and work motors.
its gonna be going turbo here soon i deliever a pizzas im number 1 right now i wanna stay that way lol i jus want extra power in cheap mods to make it i would 2jz but to much weight to corner with when i can over power it with turbo and modifications to my truck while keeping the wieght slim
I have been having the same problem I want a high rev'in TOYOTA 4 banger but I dont want to modify the oilpan or pick-up tube (4a-20v silver/black top)the I6 put out some f---ing great power but I think they put to much wait over the front end ( the back is to light to begin with)if you where to take a v8 where it be chevy or yota [or ford for the girls ;P] the V helps to keep the weight more over/behind the front wheels allowing better weight distribution. the v8's also so start out with a way better power base line makeing it ALOT easier to get way more power then you can USE ... but that being said I loved my 22r with mild mods,,and Im going to love my built 20/22r even more its more like a testment to what this small little tiny truck can can do ;P lol and 5.0 hate me!!! haa haa ahh haaa haaaaaaaa good luck with the build and keep in mind ^^^^sdyota is right we have a rpm cap that money can break!!!..... to a point but I would love to see it !!
