I got my CCDW, but kentucky is open carry as well. If I wanted to walk down the street packing a mossberg 590, and an M4....not a **** could be given. I love Ky.

You guys are lucky. Only people that can carry CCW are LEO and the such, and hardened criminals that dont give a ****. I think crime rates would go down if we had ccw, cause then people would be more respectful cause they dunno whos hot and whos not.

Then again its a different lifestyle. Problems get settled with fistfights in the middle of the street, although even now thats starting to change and no one fights up and up anymore.

I seriously think that if everyone were carrying, the instances of car jackings, muggings, home invasions, robbery, and rape would diminish. Probably not completely, because some folks are just stupid, but I'd say it would drop off drastically...overall across the country.

Remember, if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. This is not a safe situation for anyone but the the outlaws....

Yeah thats what i think too and everyone would be trigger happy and be shooting people on "suspicion" or cause they thought. That would be bad. Another catch 22. But at least the government would be able to tax it right? Hahahahaha.

NO oahu. It's not a catch 22. In order to even GET a CCDW in ky you have to attend a course, watch a dvd, learn all the laws concerning the use of deadly force, take a written test, demonstrate proper handling, use, and care of your firearm. THEN you get to go to the range, put holes in the right spots on a silhouette target that's 10 yards out (you only get 20 shots, 10 of them have to be "right") and hopefully you pass the course. If you DO pass the course, then you have to submit your certification to the sherrif's office with a passport style photo, and all the info the state police needs to conduct a background check, which takes ~6 weeks (it's a federal BG check). If at any point you don't successfully do anything mentioned above.....you're not allowed to carry a concealed weapon of any kind, except a pocket knife with a blade less than 6 inches long. If your caught, it's jail time.

If someone is unstable, or not mentally sound, it should be apparent sometime during this process.

Just finished building my AR...I call it Ruby...named after my ex..real pretty to look at, but once you get to know her(pull the trigger) she's a mean cold hearted bitch! lol

put on some different handguards a GG&G vertical foregrip, and back up iron sight, has a ergo rubber grip, flash light mount and a 5C2 flash compressor...also got an EOtech on the way!!

gotta get out to the range and sight this baby in!

And BTW if you like your guns and enjoy shooting, Join the NRA and support the preservation of the laws our forefathers created to protect us. Remember communists posing as politicians are trying to disarm you everyday to make you weak and submissive.

Anyone got experience with a Henery lever action 22?
Looking it up online and seems like a good gun. People say that or the merlin.

Anyone got any other suggestions on a good 22? I want a lever action and got a budget of $300-$400, (Hawaii status) buahahahahaha.

As soon as i get the stitches out of my hand im going to a couple stores and getting a test feel for these and see which ones i like best.
