Yea unless it is LCEngineering or something making it 2 1/2 I believe. Or it could be anything if previous owner(s) changed the exhaust.

Ok cause I need a cat converter but Im not paying $200 for one so I found some cheap aftermarket universals on Ebay but didnt know what size to get. Smallest I found was 2" so guess I'll have to flange out the existing pipe. Whoever had this truck before me removed cat and straight piped to muffler so I got nailed on my emmissions test today. Damn people, the only thing Idaho cares about it the cat and you take it off BOOOOO previous owner moron.

my stock piping was 1.75" but you need 1 7/8" if your using clamps so it will slide over the existing 1.75" pipe

OE is 1.625 (1 5/8) ID which is how pipe is measured. 1 is OD with rust or OE type replacement. inside and outside dimensions are different and it matters a lot when buying new stuff to mate to it lol.

my PO did the same thing...OE to the O2 sensor, 2.25" cherry bomb to 1.75 ID 90* bends (meaning it crushes down to about 1.25") to a 2.5" stack. "I read if you go too big on the exhaust these motors you loose all the torque... blah blah blah"
