Your gonna need to upgrade wiring a little bit to give that w7 the power it needs, I got a Load Boss 170 amp alternator on mine and a 2 ga. wire from the alternator to the battery in the bed to stop lights dimming with compressors and e-fan etc.

Just read the thread, and must say that is a nice truck! I love the height of the truck vs the wheels!

The JL 1000/1 will be plenty for that W7.

I got my Alternator from Ebay, If you search for it it will show a pic that says LOAD BOSS, Its 170 amps, Its also $170 (or atleast was 1 1/2 years ago when I got mine) Comes with bench test sheet showing what its pushing and works awesome, Only downside Ive found is it doesnt give crazy charge at idle, the second those rpms go up she pushes some power. I assume they have them for V6 trucks too. Also upgrading the other wiring and grounds will help too. I did all that when I relocated my battery under my raised bed floor

I installed an Optima redtop and udgraded the battery ground to 1/0 ga. I have not upgraded the alt or alt wires.....yet. But I still don't have any problems like fading of the lights. I'm running 1/0 ga from battery to a fuse block, and then 4 ga from there to each amp (2). My system is rated at 700 total watts (1000 watts if you go by birth charts).

Btw, I do have to say.....that white and chrome looks killer!
