So im about to bag my 91 toyota pickup and wanna keep my tank in the stock location that u did as well. I read through ur hole thread to see if anyone was gonna say something about it n u had said u moved it up about an inch or so. I looked at mine today an the only way I could raise mine is by cutting the support bar in the bed. Just wondering if that's what u had to do all well. But other then that nice build thread and beautifull truck very clean

You need to tint those tail light alittle to set the whole truck off.

91Yota, I'm sorry, I didn't see your question till now.

Yes, the tank was raised an inch or so, you'll have to raise the front of the tank to the top of the existing cross member, and on the rear of the tank, you either have to mod the bracket, or raise the cross member. I installed a new one anyway, since the drive shaft would hit the old one....

I don't plan on tinting the tails, as they are the only chromish looking part in the rear of the truck and I want it to look balanced. If I did, then I'd have to tint the front bumper and grille. My windows aren't even tinted. :)

I do want to hit some shows soon, but I need to finish a few things first.

    Thanks guys

No, In my state, I'm supposed to have a bumper. I've seen many other truck rollin' without 'em, and I've never had anyone say anything to me, but I want to leave the option open.

I've heard that alot. Idaho has no law with bumpers. They look at it as since some of these trucks didn't come with bumpers, they can't make you buy one and put it on.

They probably just let it slide more in Boise. I've been pulled over multiple times in CDA, Moscow, and other parts of NorID for no rear bumper. Never been ticketed, but each time i was told to have a bumper. It is in the Idaho motor vehicle laws as well, vehicles must have a bumper front and rear that is at least as wide as the original track width of the vehicle.

I believe toyotas didn't come with a bumper. It was more of an option if I'm not mistaken. An LIT post some pics. You should know better than this

Sorry, it was dark out, and even with two flashes there is no replacement for sunlight when taking pics.

From the top, got a new front tag, and SR5 (I think) 4runner mirrors.

Next, installed a new radiator and Flex-a-lite fan. Got a sweet deal on the stuff on Ebay. $113 plus shipping for the fan and $80 for the 4x4 radiator. Polished out the top tank real quick....

Next, got some 235/40/18's to replace the 265/35's I had before, eliminating the tire rub on the inside of the fenders... ...Now I can cruise 1/8" off the ground.

    I love the stretch.:D

What else do you want to see in the engine bay? I can take more. I honestly haven't done much else to the engine that I can think of right off hand. I mean, there are lots of little mods, just nothing major.
