Heim is a brand of spherical rod end. A cheap brand at that.

I use FK rod ends. I get them from Kartek. I have used QA1 in the past, and Ballistic Fabrication is a good retailer for them. Once I switched to FK though I dont really use anything else. They are very nice, and the spacers Kartek makes are some of the nicest I have ever used.

Thanks for the input, and setting me straight on heim joint, i had thought it was a style of joint, didn't know it was a brand. I will look into the other parts for sure.

Ya its technically called a spherical rod end, but thats a pretty long name. So rod end is the short name. Ballistic has good prices on QA1. Kartek doesnt list their price, so you have to call.
